Didn't catch my eye at the time, but reviewing the photos I realized this swan's lore is very long and narrow. However, there can always be a fair amount of variability with Trumpeter lores. I never looked closely at the shape of the bill on the head (U vs V) and there is no yellow on the bill making for a tougher ID
