Observation details
Lek - on Eagle Lake - Susanville road through Willow Creek area. From Eagle Lake, turn left on road to Horse Lake, go 8.6 - 8.9 miles (depending on vehicle) and turn right. Turn is after the crest of the ridge, and very near where the old power pole line crosses the road. Go 3.6 miles, and the lek is on the left. At about 2and miles there is a fork. Take the left, downhill fork. There were about 30 males on each of 3 days. They arrived about 5:40. I arrived about 5:30 the third day, and birds came after me, surrounding the blind. Great images. One female walked through the lek.
