Photos of both individuals; small empids with stocky rounded head; upperparts olive; conspicuous pale yellow eye ring- slightly thicker at rear of eye; small bill with dark upper mandible, pale or orangish lower mandible; throat a dull yellow extend evenly to center of breast and olive face; sides and flanks dusky; two conspicuous pale yellow wing bars and cream edges to tertials contrast with dark wings; primary projection of moderate length; responded to "turee" and "cheebeck calls"; responded with identical calls. As typical of this species in migration, both birds foraged in understory of larger trees. Multiple individuals of this species is to be expected in the last 2 weeks of May, especially with 5.5 hrs of effort in appropriate habitat.
