Media notes

Moustached barbet (same individual as ML170822). The blue-eared barbet goes "ko-tec ko-tec ko-tec" etc. I was recording these birds on a bamboo platform 20 m up in the crown of a strangler fig tree (Ficus dumosus). ML: Background subject changed from Psilopogon australis to P. duvaucelli to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 23Nov2014.

Additional species

  • Cambodian Flowerpecker Dicaeum cambodianum
  • Blue-eared Barbet Psilopogon cyanotis
