Observation details
I watched a pair of these Eagles for about twenty minutes as they perched in a large Sycamore Tree by the Levee Trail, and often took flight separately or together and soared in big circles or figure-eight paths over the woods and the nearby White River. They often made “chittering sounds” when they perched and flew. I wasn’t able to get any clear photos of them. I returned to this area a couple of hours later, to see one Eagle perched at that same tree, and watched again as it soared around over the trees. It perched in a tree that stood on the far (east) bank of the White River for a short time, and I was able to get some photos of it. I also saw the second Eagle soaring high overhead while I took the photos.
