Observation details
Single bird wading along sandbar in Eastern 1/3 of Pocket Pond at 12:15PM. Stockier body and shorter neck than other Phalaropes. Shorter and thicker bill which was two-toned. Bird may have injured the left wing. Buff and black streaking down the back. White stripe up side of neck and over the eye. Dark crown. Photos attached were reviewed by Tom Wurster, who confirmed ID.
