Observation details
Not flagged, but I assume rare in Fulton County. I had returned along Tuliptree trail to CR-26 and heard the Louisiana Waterthrush singing from the east side of the road. Easily tracked it down to a flooded area along Burr Oak trail south of the main parking, bird was working about a 75-yard stretch roughly between trail markers 2 and 4. Got audio just before heavy rain set in, returned a little over an hour later after the subsequent deluge for photos and managed one very bad picture, see next checklist. Song diagnostic, but from Northern Waterthrush by sparser streaking on cleaner white/cream underparts, bold white supercilium extending far behind eye.
