Observation details
I finally found this bird on my second attempt at this location. It was clearly visible as soon as I arrived at the spot, after hearing about recent sightings of this bird at Babel Slough. Identifiable by the plain gray head, pinkish bill, brown striped wings and lack of other coloration. Photos attached.
