Observation details
Finally I had to slowly drive up ten yards at a time to get close to one Grasshopper Sparrow. It then begin flirting around my car onto to the opposite fences. It only sang a couple of times, but short at that. It did pose for photos though, close up (which I now realize was probably territorial defense, even though I was in my car, I was too close, sorry).
