Observation details
Caught me completely by surprise, was following warbler to bush by covered bridge and noticed a white area deep in bush. So surprised to see a yellow billed cuckoo staring back at me. Got one photo of head that was not covered by branches. Left for about 1/2 hour when returning crossing back over bridge I noticed it wasn't where I had seen it ...thinking it left ..until I got to the last window...and there it was sitting in the sunlight. It looked at me and proceeded to do its stretches and then flew to tree by the Eli building...sat for a minute and then flew off across street. Beautiful bird serene bird
