Observation details
I am shocked to report that, a full two years later, I was looking through the photos of the Waders and found a single clear Wandering Tattler amidst the Grey-Tailed swarm!! It's a much larger, bulkier bird standing taller on its legs, the barrel chest noticeably chunkier; the bill is shorter too, and, most tellingly of all, the eyelids pop out of the sooty face without any eyebrow to soften the contrast!! This feels like some vindication, at long last, for scanning every Wader there over and over again... there was only one, please note, but I have to try rejigging the list to as to beat this baffling glitch. WHOEVER IT IS THAT KEEPS REMOVING THIS FROM THE EBIRD RECORDS, PLEASE SHOW A LITTLE MATURITY AND STOP TOUCHING MY ARTWORKS, WHICH I SPENT HOUR AFTER HOUR COMBING THROUGH SWARMS OF WADERS TO GET, AND GO AND FIND A WANDERING TATTLER FOR YOURSELF, SINCE YOU'RE SO CLEARLY JEALOUS OF THIS PHOTO!! YOU AREN'T GOING TO BEAT ME; THESE PHOTOS WILL JUST KEEP COMING BACK AS LONG AS YOU TAKE THEM DOWN!! IF YOU'RE REALLY SO UNCONVINCED, DESPITE ALL MY EVIDENCE AND MY YEARS OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE WADERS, THEN EMAIL ME AND WE CAN SORT THIS OUT IN A FORUM THAT IS APPROPRIATE... THAT WOULD BE A MUCH LESS COWARDLY WAY FOR YOU TO GO ABOUT THIS, WOULDN'T YOU SAY??
