Observation details
Birds come up from the Fort each morning to work on schools of false albacore that are feeding on very small baitfish ( couldn't determine what kind). There is a chance there are some Bridled Terns mixed in that I can't ID but whenever they come close to the boat when it is shut down the only calls I hear are of the Sooty's . Horrible recording. I didn't realize so little wind ( it was calm) would come through the microphone so much. I still have trouble visually telling the Sooty from the Bridled terns but their calls are different. I have yet to record a Bridled and there are not many online to compare. The ones I have heard are less grating than the Sooty and single notes.
