Observation details
Perched birds showed pale primary extension, bi-colored bill. In flight had very pale wings, very long tail streamers, powerful flight. Feeding would travel from bouy perch to marsh and feed in channel within marsh or just along lake edge of marsh. Followed these birds for some time to work out whether Common or Forster's. Could not see color of bill definitively beyond bi-colored due to lighting. Flight style, feeding location, long streamers and pale wings indicate Forster's.
