Observation details
Iridescent green back and wings with fluorescent magenta-red throat when reflecting the sun. Each of these 6 birds were first noted by the whirring, whining sound made by the wind whistling through the bird's feathers as it flies. Several were then visually noted as well. These birds were all at a sufficient distance from each other to eliminate the possibility that the same bird was being counted twice.
