Northern Pintail x American Wigeon Male
Observation details
Looking through photos taken during my visit ~3 weeks later, I found this strange duck. Greenish crown stripe, full white neck ring, laced side feathering, and large head were all observed. This bird looks resembles both American Wigeons and Pintails, although very few images of this type of hybrid exist. This bird was observed near the Sheerness Tower Trail.
