Observation details
about 2 dozen. Saw a party of 12 small ducklings scattered over all parts of the pond, most of them around the edges, fossicking here and there. They stand up in the water and flap their tiny wings just as adult birds do. And they run on the water by raising themselves up and moving feet rapidly.
