Immature/female type Black Scoter (one of two) at Santa Barbara Harbor
Observation details
Continuing female/immature Black Scoters at the harbor entrance. These were in the company of Bufflehead and Surf Scoters and spent much of the time diving. Mostly dark brown to blackish ducks, dark headed with large, pale cheek patches
