Media notes

natural vocalization; songs from the male of a pair of birds in cholla and yucca covered grassland surrounded by canyon and rimrock country. While singing the male bird would bow its head down and raise its tail while puffing its neck. Both of the birds were on the ground during the whole event, and immediately after this cut the male picked up insects twice and fed them to the female bird. Distance to the bird was approximately 12-15 meters.
