presumed male singing from mid-level in norway spruce. occasionally would flit around, apparently gleaning insects. high pass filter to mitigate roadway noise.
Observation details
uncommon but increasing/annual, especially in this area. continuing bird. long-billed Setophaga; slate gray above; white below with bright yellow throat bordered by black lines/streaks along flanks; unique facial pattern. singing incessantly from a number of norway spruces near pinetum/ye olde pump house/tollbooth. singing recorded and attached below.
