Observation details
Lager heavyset wader observed feeding near shoreline on a mudflat, it was probing in the mud using it long beak. Larger than adjacent Willet, light buffy plumage with barred upperparts. Long, upturned, bicolored bill, pink at the base, dark at the tip. Dark legs and eyes. Feeding up and down the mudflat for the better part of 30 mins. Photographed.
