Observation details
Continuing exotic birds by Gothard Street. Both birds seen flying around but I found one bird perched quite low in a tree this morning. I was able to get much better views of the upper parts, especially the thin partial black collar. Very pale dove with white undertail coverts and white tail, white belly. No black evident on the underside of the tail. Upperparts were a pinkish-buff color except for the primaries which were white. This must have been the 2nd bird I saw yesterday which I only had fleeting views of. The one I observed yesterday had pale blue-gray primaries and a weaker pink color. Both birds I assume to be escapees or released from captivity.
