Observation details
Smallish gull with dark hood, prominent eye-arcs, white tips on primaries. Dark legs and dark reddish bill. Pink color on breast and underparts seen in photos, did not notice in field. Observed for a minute or two on beach at mouth of creek next to a large mixed flock of gulls. Flock partly flushed and the bird was not seen after they settled.
