Observation details
Very rare gull found the previous day. Small to medium size, maybe a little bigger than a Bonaparte's Gull. Partial dark hood coming in. The bill looked to be larger than a Bonaparte's and appeared to be turning reddish in color. Very pale mantle and black tipped primary feathers with white on the underside of the first feather or two. Life bird for me. Saw it during Covid-19 stay at home period.
