Observation details
Observed bird for 30 minutes through scope. At first I thought it was a LBDO (but I default to that as that is our normal Dowitcher here). The flanks make me think LBDO. Bird is starting molt into breeding plumage but is still mainly in winter plumage. Rump has wide white stripes and narrow black stripes. Multiple photos shows this. This leads me toward SBDO. Photos are shot with a phone through scope-not the best. Interested to hear feedback
