Observation details
On my way through the area, I spotted a large black bird walking (not hopping) through the field and moving directly away from me. Through binoculars I expected to see a turkey but quickly noticed uniform black plumage and a very short tail. When the head was visible I could see a plain black face and fully feathered neck. Also noted pale gray legs. Within 5 minutes a Bald Eagle arrived and 5 minutes later the first raven arrived. A second raven flew in with 2 crows.
