Observation details
Many individuals of Glossy Ibis seen wading in saltwater marsh by the side of the road, adjacent to population of Greater Yellowlegs. Dark brown bodies with reddish-purple heads greyish facial skin. Long, downward curved bill. Appeared to be feeding with many individuals standing in water, walking slowly and often thrusting curved bill into water. Easily flushed by approach.
