Observation details
The wonderful rolling creaks and clunks of the Black Currawong are surely one of the most evocative of all Tasmanian birdsongs... and on our place they are especially iconic as the Black Currawong, being such a fussy resident of the highlands or wet forests, is one of our property's archetypical vagrants!! This one was singing its heart out for the sunrise, and a dramatic image it made for indeed!!
