Media notes
This is the REVI that sounded odd, almost like a PHVI. It was singing low in a pine tree, about 20 feet high, and flew over my head when I played a PHVI recording, but did not react to a REVI recording. Same bird as recording ML224686581
Observation details
Three were singing high in the hardwoods trees. a fourth vireo was singing about 20 feet above greenway path in a pine tree and had an unusual song. It responded to Philadelphia Vireo recordings but not Red-eyed Vireo songs; however, upon listening to the recordings I made of the bird, I changed the observation to indicate it was not a PHVI but an odd-sounding REVI.
