Observation details
A second county record exactly 1 year and 7 days after the first record. The hawk came in fairly low, swiftly flying overhead. I wasn't sure what it was, thinking it looked odd for a Broad-winged but thought maybe an immature as I haven't seen one in awhile and the photos were dark. I pulled up photos from eBird to check but never had time to look closely at them as TVs were coming in at that point. I sent one of the photos from the back of my camera to a few of the guys and a little later, Alec Humann set me straight on the ID before I even left the hawkwatch. I sent word to Braddock Bay at Alec's prompting - fingers crossed the hawk flies their way. Several photos were taken but they're all from pretty much the exact angle.
