Observation details
[Entered on 4/13/20--exactly one year later including leap day!] While going through old audio files during quarantine, I came across a six minute recording that I took at this location. I remember hearing a bird sing twice that I couldn't identify, but was sure I recognized it as one of the Southeastern warbler songs I had studied it was. After hearing the bird sing twice, I began recording in hopes that it might sing again. But, I never did hear it sing again, so I left it as a mystery bird (and didn't include in eBird checklist). It wasn't until a few days later that I came across the song of the YTWA again and realized that was likely what I had heard--but there was really no way to know for sure (see comments that I entered in at that time under warbler sp. below). Fast forward to today, the first time I listened to the recording in its entirety--and sure enough, at the five minute mark, the bird sang! I had no idea what it was in the moment, so I wouldn't have been playing the YTWAs song on my phone. No idea how I missed it in the moment! (I did clearly hear the bird sing twice before I began recording, so I feel confident in entering this in now even though I didn't actually hear the song that I recorded.)
