Media notes

Two songs by a male that I saw relatively well (and described on tape) with a mixed-species flock about 50 meters away and 30 meters up on a trunk about 3 meters from the top of a large tree in good, terra firme forest along the road just beyond the swamp. 3.5 kilometers beyond the bridge over the Río Grande. [8° 06’ 43.0” N, 61° 39‘ 50.0” W, 283 meters]. Partly cloudy, intermittently breeze, 85° F. Other Behaviors: Take Flight. Equipment Notes: Sennheiser powered using phantom power and with filter in flat position and attenuator off for all recordings. Nagra input set at 2 mV / Pa and low-pass filter in flat position unless noted otherwise.

Additional species

  • Painted Tody-Flycatcher Todirostrum pictum
  • oropendola sp. Psarocolius sp.
