Observation details
Heard again, this time closer louder and clearer. Has to be east of "My Window" in the direction of Jim Neville Marine Preserve, Same as the last several years, East of Turtles Restaurant on Siesta Key or South-West of Vamo Drive Park (if the park is still accessible, thanks to COVID-19) In past years, I reported it as possibly being on Jim Neville Marine Preserve, sometimes called Bird Keys. The call did come from that direction, but doesn't have to be on the Keys. ADDITIONAL NEWS 03.31.2020 IT HAS BEEN ONLY A FEW DAYS SINCE THE CWWI WAS CALLING LOUDLY, IT APPEARS THAT DURING LAST NIGHT (NIGHT OF 03.30.2020) DURING WINDS THAT WERE HIGHER THAN NORMAL IT FLEW INTO MY CONDO COMPLEX AND WAS FOUND DEAD TODAY. A BEAUTIFUL BIRD, IT HAS ALREADY BEEN MISSED. JOHN WHITEHEAD ADDITIONAL NOTES 04.1.2020. IN THE INTEREST OF SHOWING THE BEAUTIFUL PLUMAGE OF THE CWWI, PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED PIX. TYPICAL PIX IN THE BIRDING MEDIA AREN'T ABLE TO CAPTURE THIS DETAIL. JOHN.
