Observation details
Banded male --- Regarding sightings of banded Lawrence's Goldfinches: Jodi Isaacs, Environmental Scientist, California State Parks: "We have caught them [Lawrence's Goldfinches] at the MAPS station over the years but not many. - The ones we have caught have all been adults in breeding condition – females with brood patches and males with cloacal protuberances. - 2019 we caught the most, 2 males and 2 females. The most exciting was the recapture that was first caught in 2012 and then again in 2014."
