Scan of print - with Muscovy Duck on Cocha Salvador
Observation details
A duck with a small group 4-5 Muscovy ducks in both cases. Almost half the size of accompanying Muscovy Ducks – strong white vent and whitish grey flanks. Dark head, neck, upper parts and upper breast contrasting with bright red bill and swollen knob at the base of the bill. Seen to fly with Muscovy Ducks at one point and conspicuous broad white trailing edge to primaries and secondary’s noted. Showed some anomalous white feathers towards back of head behind eye perhaps indicating a young bird?
