Media notes

The RCKI continuously sang; this 45-second recording was converted from MOV to WAV by zamzar.com I could see the bird and never saw a red crown, so I believe it was a female RCKI. Sorry that I could not determine one way or the other. Same RCKI as the ML218377571 recording. This one was made at 14:42 in a shrub near the closed playground

Additional species

  • Red-bellied Woodpecker Melanerpes carolinus
  • Pine Warbler Setophaga pinus
