Media notes

Two birds were chasing near the feeders late in the noisy evening, just before dusk. I think some of this is mechanical wing rattling in addition to vocal. It's not clear exactly who is responsible for which sounds--including the song, but the Many-spotted was giving the single, sharp notes and chasing other hummers.

Observation details

I was a bit surprised to see 2-3 Many-spotted Hummingbirds coming to the feeders at Copalinga, where I never saw them 10 years ago.
