Observation details
Little Bee-eaters (Merops pusillus), the smallest Bee-eater species, are found throughout sub-Saharan Africa, mainly in grassy habitats not far from water. This immature bird was perching on a twig at Thulamela Waterhole in northern Kruger National Park, scanning for prey.
