Observation details
Estimated count. Large flocks of Horned Larks were constantly flying around the water holes and adjacent prairie, often landing along the shore for only a few seconds before taking off again. I took a lot of pictures of the groups of Horned Larks when they landed along the shore of the water holes - the pictures made me realize there were a lot more Horned Larks present than I originally thought.
