Observation details
I found an empid. flycatcher matching the 1st winter Dusky FC in the sibley guide. It gave a plaintive and upslurred "pwip" call. Update 5/20/23. Email from reviewer: I just thought you should know that 1) Someone who knows empids very well (wrote the recent flycatcher guide) concurs with your comments that it was probably a Dusky and 2) there was a Dusky Flycatcher present there from 12/15/07 to 1/17/08. Go ahead and change it to Dusky and I will confirm it. Bob Nieman carlsbob@valornet.com
