Observation details
These birds were in the back yard all afternoon; both males and females. At least a dozen. They fed almost exclusively at the Yellow Niger Feeder and Niger Sock, but occasionally fed at the Hanging Feeders. It was interesting to see that most were showing a change into brighter yellow spring plumage. Some were more along in the plumage change than others.
