Observation details
I saw a very white gull flying while I was waiting at a stoplight. It landed on a nearby telephone pole so I pulled over to take photos. It was a large gull with a bulky pink bill that had a black tip. The eye was pale. The mantle was very light with pale brown mottling. The wingtips were white. Legs were pink. It appeared to be a 2nd winter bird.
