Observation details
***MEGA | found at this location on 27 November 2015 by Luke Seitz and Derek Lovitch. I heard it here on the 28th around 11:20AM but got a brief view this morning; honestly too short to have been positive about the ID had I not been looking for this species; enough to tell it was a Geothylpis sp - chunky warbler with bright yellow (slightly yellow-green) underneath, not on the throat as in a COYE and although brief, it was obviously 'hooded'. The bird was very vocal both days, more so this morning. Giving a sharp wet note, similar to a waterthrush. I revisited this afternoon and we heard it call several times around 2:30PM. Seems to be loosely associating with BCCHs and NOCAs - those species were present and vocal at the same times as the MAGW during my three encounters the past two days.
