Observation details
Continuing winter bird, first found by Brian Daniels, and re-found by Tom Wurster. First heard singing (diagnostic recording) softly far NE corner of park in Pines. Then moved to Liquid Ambar. I helped Loren and Sue Wright get super views of bird and they also heard it sing. We later chased it to the central southern end of park, then it flew back to NE end of park, moving slowly westward, still favoring the Pines and LIquid Ambar. Sang on and off, occasionally calling. Brighter yellow along flank (underparts whitish} than any Plumbeous Vireo I have seen. White spectacles on gray face, white wing bars, olive-gray back. No abrupt contrast from gray to white in head to neck transition.
