Observation details

This bird at first was sailing straight at me and far away, coming in from McKellar Lake. When it turned, I almost lost it trying to get out of the truck and get the camera ready, a Brown Pelican!! It came over TVA Lake, started flapping and then soaring, I thought to get up over the high power lines. The bird surprisingly did not go south but ended up flying back to the east, following the south leg of McKeller Lake, south of Treasure Island. I suspect the bird might still be in the area but is is a difficult area to view.
