Observation details
Found by Brittany O'Connor flying and landing on willows in pond C1. As a large group of birders watched the bird, it flew and spent most of its time flying out and returning to a stand of willows near the C2 pond signs. Small empid. Could be heard calling a sharp "whit" frequently. Olive greenish head, back and tail. Darker wings with two whitish wingbars. Narrow white eye-ring. Very pale breast and belly. Pale wash of olive on sides of upper breast. Upper mandible was dark, and the lower mandible was orange. Dark legs and feet. Photos attached. Have a video of the bird perched in a willow, calling "whit" if needed.
