Observation details
Identification tentative, opinions solicited. Much like Lesser Black-backed Gull (with other first-cycle LBBG present for comparison) except: 1) Bill somewhat thicker than typical LBBG 2) Bill subtly pale and more pink at base than all-black bill typical of LBBG at this age 3) Covert checkering somewhat more messy than LBBG, and paler in direct comparison to other first-cycle LBBG present.
