Media notes
A younger bird, with dusky legs with orangish parts making this distress call as I approached. The vocalization was uttered once per approach; after being emitted it wouldn't do it again even if I was closer than before. The vocalization at 1:30 is made while the bird was on the lagoon shore, the others are on the water. It was also making this call naturally when the aggressive F. gigante approached to it. Indeed, I got a recording at close range (6m at most) of the complete interaction of this bird going out of the water while the aggressive adult flies out of the water, goes into water and makes the 'song' with sunk head on the water.
