NOTES: THESE BIRDS ARE USUALLY IN PAIRS ALTHOUGH THEY MAY BE IN DIFFERENT TREES. WHEN THUS SEPARATED THEY REGULARLY VOCALIZE ONE RESPONDING TO THEOTHER. HERE ARE THE VOCALIZATIONS OF THE MALE WITH THOSE OF THE FEMALE HEARD FAINTLY AT TIMES. ONCE I TURNED THE PARABOLA TOWARDS THE FEMALE FOR A FEW CALLS . THEN I APPROACHED MORE CLOSELY THE TREE IN WHICH THE MALE WAS PERCHED. LOW TREES IN THORN SCRUB. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Scrub.
