Observation details
This was just mind-blowing!! The Sharp Tails were the very first birds I saw, beside a single Stilt, and the more I looked the more they appeared, pottering around slowly and aimlessly, probing the mud for a meal. While I soon found myself wanting just one of them to shrink down to a Long Toe, I was extremely happy when a whole flock landed in front of me in perfect light, at maybe five metres range, glowing gorgeously white and cinnamon!! It was just... it was extraordinary. Again, I may seem a little dazed in writing this; it's purely due to being overwhelmed!!
