Observation details
Raining all day. I glanced out the back window and saw a hawk sitting in a tree at the back of the yard at the treeline where the woods start. I have never seen a hawk in the yard before. Feeders are quite a distance away on the other side of the yard so no real danger to the feeder birds. I got a pic but it is not great considering it is at 40x zoom shot through glass and pouring rain. I watched the hawk with binocs until it flew further into the woods. No other birds seen during this time.
